On the keto diet, carbs are often deemed the enemy. As a society, we’ve come to grow a disdain when dieting for one macronutrient or the other. Low-fat, high protein, low-carb… I strongly believe in the old adage – everything in moderation.
For instance, fruits are made of simple sugars, but occasionally I will enjoy a handful of blueberries, blackberries or strawberries while on the keto diet. Certain vegetables like Brussels sprouts & asparagus have carbohydrates, but I eat them on a regular basis.
If you’re concerned about too much carbohydrate intake while on a keto diet, look no farther. I’ve curated a Master Carb List of over 50 common food items, including fruits & dairy, with their accompanying carb content.
