HELLO! And welcome back! Today I’m going to be sharing my weekly check-in, PLUS a FREE Goal Setting Worksheet to help you reach your goals!
Starting Weight: 9/6/19 – 233
Current Weight: 10/11/19 – 223
That’s a loss of 2.2 lbs from last week. Together, that’s a total loss of 10 lbs!
Only 10 lbs in 5 weeks. WHAT?!? Some of you might think that’s great and that’s HEALTHY. And it is… But, imagine going on a diet, losing weight – only to gain it back after all your hard work. Yep, that’s me currently.
If you’re new here, I lost 90 lbs on the ketogenic diet in 2017 and gained 40 lbs back last year. So, yes, this is my SECOND time doing keto and this blog is serving as my ACCOUNTABILITY platform.
This time around, I don’t have nearly as much weight to lose, so it’s possible that it will come off slower than it did the first time. However, when I think about it, losing 10 lbs a month is great. If my goal is 50 lbs, I’ll reach my target in 4 months.
So, what’s helping you stay on track?
First and foremost, my boyfriend is undoubtedly my biggest fan. He is also doing keto with me and losing a healthy amount of weight (15 lbs in 4 weeks). We walk together nightly and it’s a good time for us to bond.
I also have an accountability partner who is amazing. She also follows a ketogenic lifestyle. We check in with each other daily, offer constructive feedback and motivate each other to keep going.
Lastly, I’ve started a podcast that I’ll be launching by the end of the year. It’s my show of faith in encouraging others to take stock of their lives and hold themselves accountable for their choices. In keeping myself accountable, I’ve become the accountability partner.
For the remainder of the year, my goals include continuing my blog, working on my podcast and start working out again. We have considered putting a home gym in our garage and have the entire Beachbody collection of workout videos.
