It’s been ONE week since the launch of my blog and my journey on the ketogenic diet (for the 2nd time). Before I get into how things went, let’s look at my stats.
Starting Weight: 9/6/19 – 233
Current Weight: 9/13/19 – 228.4
That’s a total loss of 4.6 lbs!
Gaining weight is never fun. Your self-esteem plummets, you lose confidence in your abilities and it seems impossible to pick yourself back up.
My weight has fluctuated so much over the years, mostly due to everyday stress like marriage, parenting, work, etc. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fallen off the wagon & had to get back up again. But that’s the beauty of this story.
I got back up EVERY SINGLE TIME.
This week went by fast and last night went by in a flash! My diet this week was pretty spot on. I use MyFitnessPal to track my food and macros and most days my numbers were well within where they needed to be. This was yesterday’s stats. A little short on protein, but that’s definitely not the norm.
What did you eat this week?
Some of the foods I ate during the week were Taco salad, Twice Baked Cauliflower and Peanut Butter fat bombs. I’ve been experimenting with new recipes which makes things easier for me, and my kids loved it all!
I’m looking forward to this new week and what it’s going to bring. I’ll be sharing new recipes and articles on how to keep up with keto. But, I want to hear from you.
